Free Art Classes for people aged 50 and over begin in November 2024 and continue through to June 2025. Coordinated by Port Augusta City Council and supported by the Office for Ageing Well, through the Age Friendly SA grants program, these workshops will offer locals a fantastic opportunity to engage in creativity, build connections, and enjoy a variety of unique art experiences.

This program provides invaluable opportunities for connection, creativity, and shared joy, helping our seniors to stay engaged, healthy, and socially active. We warmly encourage all residents over 50 to join, meet new people, and learn from each other while diving into the world of adult learning. Art has a unique way of sparking conversation, and these sessions are ideal for those looking to make new friends and expand their interests.
